John 11:4-6

⁴When Jesus heard this, he said,

“This illness is not to end in death.
Rather, it is for God’s glory,
so that by means of it
the Son of Man may be glorified.”

⁵Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. ⁶So after learning that Lazarus was ill, he remained for two more days in the place where he was.
